Welcome to Raking The Coals


This is a personal set of anecdotal memories, in no order at all, from the whole of my life. I can’t pretend that any of this will be of interest and the reason for its existence is that one day, I intend to collect them together into a volume (yes, a book). Placing them here initially forces me to write them all in a stabilized style.

That said, you may chuckle at some, cringe at others and generally ask yourself the question ‘Why?’

That’s if you read them at all.

Each will have a standard heading identifying the period of my memory from which it’s extracted but this is more for my own sake rather than any assistance I am imparting to you.
